Founded in 2020, we aim to meet basic life needs and provide sports-related items in Ghana
The Robin Polley Foundation is a charitable organization dedicated to the well-being of children and youth in Ghana. Since its establishment on November 5, 2020, the foundation has focused on meeting primary life needs and providing sports-related items to communities in Ghana. One of the highlights of the year is the annual football tournament organized by the foundation, where children and youth have the opportunity to come together, have fun, and pursue their passion for football.
Additionally, the foundation focuses on providing basic school supplies to schools and orphanages, aiming to support educational initiatives and improve access to essential learning materials for vulnerable children. Our long-term goal with the Robin Polley Foundation is to develop it into a football academy, offering a structured collaboration between education, sports, and basic needs support.
Robin Polley
My name is Robin Polley, and I was born and raised in Rotterdam. My roots run deep in Ghana, the land of my parents, where I proudly embrace the rich culture and traditions. Since 2018, I have had the privilege of turning my passion for football into my profession. My journey began with signing my first professional contract with ADO Den Haag, and currently, I proudly wear the shirt of SC Telstar.
In addition to my dedication to my work (professional football), I have always been aware of the privileges I have, contrasted with the reality of many people in developing countries. That’s why I have been involved in initiatives focusing on sports, clothing, and basic needs in these communities.
Annually, together with my Foundation, I contribute to these valuable causes, hoping to bring about positive change where it is most needed. I am incredibly grateful for the many collaborations I have been able to establish with football clubs and sports companies.
Together, we have been able to make an impact, not only on the field but also beyond, where people’s lives are improved by the power of sports and solidarity. With your support and involvement, I hope to further promote our mission and bring more light into the lives of those in need.
